Thanksgiving 2008

As I reflect on this holiday, I am more grateful to God than ever before. Maybe it's moving into my 40's or maybe it's just I am taking more time to muse about all that I have been given.

I praise the Lord for salvation in Jesus. Without God in my life I would be lost, lonely, and insignificant.

I thank the Lord of my wife and children. Melissa is a blessing to me everyday. I love her so much. My children--Micah, Jeremiah, Talia, and Carissa are great gifts from God. I don't deserve such a wonderful tribe of kids. My wife and children are a wonderful blessing.

I thank the Lord for my family. Both the one I married into and the one I was born into are blessing to me. I don't see many of them as often as I'd like or even as much as they would like. However, I am grateful for each of them.

I thank the Lord for my friends. I am a blessed man. So many people have crossed my path as I journey through this life. I am so honored to have friends everywhere. You are too many to name but so many of you are dear to me. May God grant us more time together to share how God is working in your life and what you are doing with the life He has given you.

I could list more things that I am thankful for, but I will focus this post on the people who matter most to me. I love you all.

Many thanks this year!
