Fourth of July Fireworks Outreach in Wooster OH

On a warm summer day, Rob gets his family ready to go watch the July 4 Fireworks at Kinney Fields with his family. He is surprised by the turnout. He gets his spot reserved with blankets and lawn chairs. Then he sets out to see what's going on.

He sees a big tent with a lot of activity. At first, he is hesitant when invited to come get a hot dog and a cold drink. So he shakes his head with a "no," then smiles and passes by.

Later he returns with his youngest child to jump in the Inflatable jump house and to get something to eat and to drink. He listens to the friendly people in the tent. Then quietly goes back to his family encampment.

He leaves thinking about where this church is. All Rob knows is that his daughter got to have fun, got a hot dog, a cold drink, and resolves that IF he were to go to a church, then it might be this church that was friendly and kind.

That's why we do this outreach on July 4.  Wooster Grace seeks to develop fully devoted followers for Christ through contacts at events like July 4th Firworks. Events allow Wooster Grace to interact with people in our community to share God's love in a real way.
