Sharing God's love on July 4 in Wooster

I give praise to God for our volunteer teams at Wooster Grace. Their faithful service helps us reach out to people in our community.

Every fourth of July, our city sets off fireworks. We get the opportunity to offer some fun things in our tent for families. We give away a snack--hot dog, chips, and cold drinks--as supplies last. We also offer free face painting, caricature artist renditions, and a balloon art to take with them.

Our mission at Wooster Grace is to develop everyone into fully devoted followers of Christ. Our volunteer teams moved many people closer to God. One man mentioned to me how they appreciate what we do. “We look forward to stopping by every year.” Thus we are making positive contacts to initiate a couple’s journey to give their life to Christ.

Caleb the inflatables supervisor said, “You guys have a great thing going here. Keep it up!” Even new acquaintances affirmed what the Bible says in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Thanks to all who prayed for us from the comfort of your A/C, swimming pool, or shade tree. You helped us shine our light in the extreme heat for the glory of God.

Blessings,

Pastor Daron for the Outreach Team
