Disasters seem to hit almost daily. With the advent of social media, news about disasters arrive quickly.

Besides Hurricane Sandy and the Guatemalan earthquake, the country of Chad in Central Africa is facing food crises. Floodwater inundated homes and crops.  Tens of thousands try to figure out how to survive.
