Praying for Triplehorns as they depart for language school in France

Bruce & Lisa Triplehorn

Church planting is paramount to Grace Church.  Our heart is to develop fully devoted followers who are in local churches to serve their community and to reach out from their neighborhoods into the region, across cultures, and abroad to the ends of the earth. 

French visas in hand

Bruce & Lisa Triplehorn are our missionary partners to Uberlandia, Brazil. They will also spend time equipping church leaders in Africa. They received their French visas this month. So, Lord willing, they will go to language school in France then depart for Central Africa to equip church leaders in Africa.  They will return to Brazil in July 2015. 

Bruce & Lisa have seen God work first hand in Brazil.  The Triplehorns have served in Northern Brazil for 20 years in the cities of Campinas, Uberlândia, and Belém.  There are currently 13 Grace Brethren Churches in the greater Belém area. 

God then called Bruce & Lisa to move South to the city of Uberlândia where God wants them to continue leadership development and training in Brazil. They will target the churches in southern Brazil to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. 

The next adventure for the Triplehorn's is to develop leaders for Christ in Central Africa.  Bruce's strengths as a bible teacher will help Central African church leaders to learn and to grow in Christ. Lisa's strength as mentor to Christian ladies will encourage wives to step up and to provide united strength for God's work.  

So please pray for Bruce, Lisa, and Jonathan in the following ways:

• Ask God to give them courage as they prepare for a transition to France from Brazil. They arrive in Albertville, France on August 29 for language school.
• Ask God to help them process the sadness of leaving pastors and church leaders in Brazil. They will do language school in France. Then go to Africa to train church leaders. 
• Ask God to give them stamina and health as they prepare to serve in Central Africa to train Central African church leaders for a short term.
