Pray for Sylvain who lost his father tragically

Sad news I discovered this week about a Central African man we sponsored for bible institute training in Bangui.  Grace Church sponsored Sylvain Sangeserre and his young wife, Wanam, as they completed their training for the pastorate at the James Gribble Seminary.

I found out this week that Sylvain's father was killed by Seleka rebels in Northern CAR. Pastor Thomas Ouanam was murdered along with another pastor and 100 other civilians.  World Watch Monitor shared the news online. The atrocities of war and revenge continue in Northern Central African Republic. Thanks to persecution.org for reposting the article.

Please pray for Sangeserre and his family as they mourn this terrible loss. Ask God to be their comfort and to redirect their anger towards the awfulness of sin and death rather than revenge. May they grieve in Christ and ask for God's strength in these turbulent times.
