We are for Wayne County.  The church has been known for what it’s against for far too long; we want to be known for what we are for.  We want to be a church that people love attending.  We want to give generously to our community without any expectation back, because we care.  We are in pursuit of sharing the good news with our county that God is totally for them, and we are too.

Because if we aren’t for Wayne County, who will be?
 

What if we pulled together to help our county?  What if we could make sure that our local nonprofits and food pantries had food for a whole year?  What if we, together, could help them overcome the biggest challenges that they face?
That’s what #forwaynecounty is all about.  

We want to be intentionally serving our community to help our community succeed.  Grace Church is #forwaynecounty and we’re asking you to help. What’s #forwaynecounty all about?  It’s an unstoppable movement of people helping people.  We’d love for you to join the movement.  #forwaynecounty
 
Join the effort!

Increase our "FAVOR" with our community. Grace Church can have a great impact in the community. In the past the early Church had this going on,
^"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved (Acts 2:46-47)."

Bless our county by meeting real needs where the love of Jesus motivates everyone to care for people in Wayne County.  We want the people of Grace Church to discover needs and to discern how best to meet that needs by mobilizing a small group to help meet that need.  We want to serve people for Christ. 

Serve the people of our county.  Each #ForWayneCounty endeavor will provide "FIRST SERVE" opportunities for the people of Grace Church.  

ENLIST the help of Grace Church people. Grace Groups and individuals will seek to be a blessing.  When you serve, serving is better in a group.  We value loving relationships with others and understand that you cannot do life alone. We can serve together.   Everyone can help with #forwaynecounty.

What can you do?

Bring food to feed the hungry!  

There are hungry people in Wayne County and feeding them starts with you. If Wayne County could pull together and bring in 350,000 lbs. of food, we could give one million meals to people in our community! We’re partnering with Wooster Hope Center, Salvation Army (Orrville and Wooster) and People to People.

Would you believe that 1 in 5 people in our county are food insecure (aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from)?  And 2 in 5 children are food insecure.  Our local nonprofits fighting hunger everyday are constantly struggling to keep non-perishables in their food pantries. 

We’re asking you to donate 10 or more nonperishable food items at the #forwaynecounty booth during the Wayne County Fair, and we’ll give you a free #forwaynecounty tshirt for joining the movement.
