Our Missionary Partner: Rainer and Susanna Ehmann are German Nationals who live in Stuttgart, Germany. They lead a Grace Brethren Church in Stuttgart. Susanna works part-time in the community at a health clinic. She shares Christ at work with her colleagues. 

Motorcycle enthusiasts

God called them to develop fully devoted followers of Christ in their hometown of Stuttgart.  The church meets in a Center for special needs people. Many doors have opened as they serve the caregivers and the supervisors at the Center.  In the community, those with physical and mental challenges are neglected. So, extending God's love to the least and forgotten has been fruitful.


Their Mission: Rainer and Susanna thank us for our prayers and support.  They are always so grateful for what we do for them.  Germany is 2.9% evangelical; those who study missions believe that at least 5% is necessary to have impact on the population as a whole.  Religion has started to decline in Germany.

How to Be Involved

PRAY: Pray for Rainer and Susanna as they lead the church team to equip believers to serve neighbors and family. May God oversee the development of the church team.  Ask God to give Rainer and Susanna strength in the Lord to develop fully devoted followers of Christ in Stuttgart.  Ask the Lord to help them "make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3)." 
 
ENCOURAGE: Rainer's birthday is May 13. Susanne's birthday is January 19.  Anniversary is June 25, 1982.

Meet Rainer Ehmann

It was my privilege to interview briefly in our New Community service, Rainer Ehmann.  He is a potential new missionary partner for our church.

He would be the fourth Charis associate that we partner with around the world.  A Charis Associate is a national church leader that seeks to impact their own people or cultures so that the Great Commission starts anew with them.  We have national missionary partners in Chile, Chad, and even here in the USA (Hispanic & Native American).

We praise the Lord for the privilege to partner with these families.  We pray that we can add the Ehmann's to our international ministry team.

I asked Rainer the following questions tonight (answers are in italics):
What is your full name and tell us the names of your family? 
Rainer Theodore Ehmann, his wife Susanne, adult son Johannes, married daughter Frederica Weaver, and young adult Caroline.

Where did you grow up? 
Stuttgart, Germany

As a little boy, what did you dream you wanted to become as an adult?
An excavator or earth-mover operator.

What is your present ministry in Germany? Three-fold: Equipping workers or interns (a PA couple is coming as interns soon), Motorcycle Club contacting ministry, Handicap Center Ministry
 
How can we best pray for you?
Ask God to help the Stuttgart Church to be like Wooster Grace in developing all people into fully devoted followers of Christ, for interns to become teammates, and to maximize opportunities with motorcycle club.
