Death of Christian Leader in Africa is devastating

"Prayer Request from Ezels
With heavy hearts we write you today to ask for prayer.  This afternoon we heard that our dear Chadian friend and coworker Dadje Samuel died this afternoon.  His death was unexpected and occurred after a very short illness.  He was returning from yet another of many outreach trips to the north of this country when he became sick.  He was flown to a hospital in N’Djamena on Friday and died there this, Sunday, afternoon. We do not know any more details than that.  Dadje was an extremely valuable member of our team here and we feel his loss keenly.  His great vision for the lost and ceaseless efforts to reach them with the gospel leave us bewildered and deeply saddened at his death.

  • Please pray for his widow, Christine and the rest of his family.
  • Please pray for our small team here; that we know how to respond and continue in the face of this tragedy; for wisdom and strength.

We have lost an invaluable partner and a dear friend. Thank you for your prayers and we will try to keep you up to date.

Sincerely, Matthias & Melina Ezel"
