According to Open Doors USA, Christians are now targets of terrorist groups. Since Sunday November 14 is International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, everyone needs to pray and to consider donating to provide encouragement to these fully devoted followers of Christ around the world.
Wooster Grace partnered with other churches to help the Grace Community Health Center start in Baghdad several years ago. As they seek to offer medical help to those in their part of the city, the dangers of being Christ followers in an Islamic country are many. Yet the faithful staff seeks to help Iraqi people with their medical needs.
As the BBC recently reported, Iraq's Christians are living in fear.
Please keep the staff in your prayers:
- Ask God to give them courage to keep serving others in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Ask God to provide confidence in Him as they travel amid unseen dangers.
- Ask God to oversee their safety
- Ask God to bring many people to Himself through these challenging circumstances.
