Alex Zedd is off to Operation Barnabas 2012

Today I got to pray for Alex Zedd who is going on the Operation Barnabas Summer Ministry Experience with CE National. You can follow them with on Twitter with the hashtag #ob2012.

When she first contacted me, Alex share her apprehension regarding getting the funds together to go. She sensed God directing her to pursue this opportunity. Over the past weeks, God has been faithful. He is an awesome God. She left yesterday with her bags and tons of excitement.

I praise God for this opportunity for Alex. Please pray everyday for Alex. 

• Ask God to prompt Alex to be filled with the Holy Spirit to learn, to serve, and to grow in Christ.
• Pray for her and the team to have great health and safety in their travels.
• Ask the Lord to empower the team to get close to people to share God's love in real and clear ways so that many people come to know Christ this summer.
• Pray for God to draw people to Himself (John 6:44) as the team is contacting, caring, meeting, witnessing, praying for people wherever they go.
• Ask God to keep unity in the bond of peace for the team so that they sharpen one another in good and healthy ways.
