The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, Sunday, November 2, 2014

"All over the world, Christians are still persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ. For this reason, the global Church sets aside one Sunday a year to collectively pray for our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ."

The Bible challenges us to pray.

"Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering (Hebrews 13:3)."

"If one suffers, every parts suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it (I Corinthians 12:26)."

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, the right of all who are destitute (Proverbs 31:8-9)."

Make time today to pray for the persecuted Church. Watch the story of Padina of Iran to move you to pray. Ask God to bring Muslims to Christ from Iran and all around the Arab world.

Pray. Then, share this post with others.
